Its main focus is to attract new members to the organization as well as to retain the existing membership population. Responsible for maintaining current membership information and the welcoming of new members.

Develops, coordinates and implements the monthly programs for the chapter. Solicits program topics from chapter members and assembles schedule of topics for approval by the board. After approval, committee contacts speakers, panelists and tour locations to finalize the schedule. Throughout the program year, the committee coordinates with external sources to schedule locations and audio-visual needs. Develops, coordinates, implements, and oversees all educational activities of the chapter.

Provide topics that will further the Facility Mgmt education of our members both professional and associates achieve the ultimate goal of retention.

Responsible for dissemination of information on chapter activities to members through an active website. Manages and maintains all website activities. Responsible for coordinating publicity regarding chapter activities; publicity is targeted for placement in local print media. Establish liaison with other related professional organizations, to promote IFMA events.

Responsible for development and coordination of the sponsorship program; actively recruit potential sponsors; markets sponsorship opportunities; communicates benefits clearly and ensures that all benefits are provided.

Responsible for planning and scheduling events as well as networking opportunities in the local community beyond the local chapter's monthly membership meetings. The committee will plan at least one community outreach event, where the IFMA Nashville members will have an opportunity to volunteer their time for a charitable and/or community event.
